Is there a new wide receiver duo in town that could challenge the Eagles for the best in the NFC East? With A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith showing their dynamic skills when healthy, they could give the Birds a run for their money. Even though they missed the Week 4 loss in Tampa, their potential is undeniable.
The Cowboys, sitting at 2-2, might be eyeing some additional firepower as the Raiders look to offload players this season. Reports suggest that they are “monitoring” the Davante Adams situation in Vegas, according to The Athletic’s Dianna Russini. Adams, a three-time First-Team All-Pro selection, is reportedly looking for a quick exit from his current team.
A recent report from The Athletic’s Jeff Howe indicates that Adams could potentially be traded for a third-round pick. If Dallas were to pair Adams with CeeDee Lamb, it could spell trouble for the Eagles’ chances of winning the NFC East.
The Cowboys are known for making big moves, like trading for Amari Cooper in 2018, which ultimately helped them secure a division title. If they pull off a similar move for Adams, it could drastically change the landscape of the NFC East.
The NFL trade deadline is approaching on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 4 PM ET, so we’ll have to wait and see if any deals materialize before then. Stay tuned to PhillyVoice for all the latest news and rumors.
