There’s a buzz in the air in Manayunk as a historic 19th-century bank on Main Street is undergoing a dramatic transformation into a vibrant brewery, restaurant, and event space. Source Brewing is all set to add to its portfolio with a new location slated to open its doors in the fall of 2025 at 4334 Main St. This sprawling 10,000 square-foot building stretching across four stories will soon become a hub of activity in the thriving Manayunk neighborhood. Founded by “Shark Tank” alum Philip Petracca, his wife Keri Petracca, and business partner Greg Taylor, Source Brewing already boasts successful locations in Colts Neck, New Jersey, and Fishtown.

“We were looking for a larger space in Pennsylvania,” Philip Petracca shared. “Manayunk stood out to us. The vibrant community and the enthusiastic support for small businesses convinced us. The picturesque surroundings, including the nearby water and residential apartments, along with the rich history of the area, sealed the deal for us.”

The upcoming Source Brewing location overlooks the Manayunk Canal and trails. Situated next to Pizza Jawn and across from Fat Lady Brewing, this historic bank building has seen various incarnations over the years, from a financial institution to an exotic car dealership. Petracca emphasizes the commitment to preserving and enhancing the local landscape.

Each level of the brewery offers a unique experience for visitors. From a gourmet kitchen to brewing operations and a hotel lounge cafe, every corner of the space is designed to cater to different preferences. The rooftop terrace promises stunning views, brick oven pizza, and an array of entertainment options. Source Brewing aims to provide something for everyone, from families to beer enthusiasts.

The ground floor of the brewery will host chef’s table dining with open views into the gourmet kitchen.

Philip Petracca acknowledges the challenges of renovating a historic space but remains excited about the journey. The Source Brewing team has a track record of revitalizing old buildings, with their Manayunk location set to become another gem in their collection.

As the opening date approaches, anticipation is high for what’s on tap at Source Brewing Manayunk. From traditional German lagers to innovative cocktail-inspired beers, the menu promises a diverse range of offerings. Local farmers will play a crucial role in ensuring that the food and drinks served are fresh and high quality.

Ultimately, Petracca envisions the newest Source Brewing as not just a place to grab a drink or a bite but as a destination where patrons can immerse themselves in history and create lasting memories.

“We’re thrilled to be part of this journey,” Petracca enthuses. “Preserving historic landmarks and offering authentic experiences is at the core of what we do. We want Source Brewing Manayunk to be a place where guests can savor great beer, delicious food, and above all, unforgettable experiences.”
