Are you a delivery driver in Philly looking for a more efficient way to get around the city? Well, you’re in luck! Whizz, a company based in New York City, is expanding to Philadelphia in September and bringing their electronic bicycles with them.

Whizz is all about providing affordable options for gig workers, offering e-bikes for purchase or rental. They will be opening their Philly office at 308 Market St. on Monday, Sept. 2. With 2,500 active riders already on the streets of New York and Jersey City, Whizz is ready to make a splash in Philadelphia.

According to a spokesperson for Whizz, the decision to expand to Philadelphia was a natural progression after their success in New York City. The city’s size, strategic location, infrastructure, density, popularity of delivery services, and proximity to NYC all make it an ideal location for Whizz.

To celebrate their expansion, Whizz will be hosting an opening event at their new Philly office from Sept. 13 to 15. Residents will have the opportunity to go on test rides, win accessories in giveaways, and receive discounts on purchases.

Some of the features of Whizz bikes include powerful batteries that last up to 85 miles, a frame and suspension that can support up to 300 pounds, GPS tracking, and speeds up to 25 miles per hour. And the best part? Whizz is offering their e-bikes at the same affordable pricing as in other locations.

For a $159 per month rental fee, or the option for split payments over a year for $149 a month plus a $99 one-time payment, you can have access to one of these state-of-the-art e-bikes. And to sweeten the deal, Philly locals can also look forward to exclusive promotional codes.

While Whizz e-bikes are designed for delivery drivers, they have also become popular among consumers. With the dominant bicycle-sharing program in Philly being Indego, which also offers electronic bikes, it’s clear that e-bikes are becoming a popular mode of transportation in the city.

So whether you’re a delivery driver looking to speed up your deliveries or just a city dweller looking for a fun and eco-friendly way to get around, Whizz’s e-bikes are definitely worth checking out. Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to experience the future of transportation in Philly!
