As we focus on the current roster changes for the Sixers this NBA offseason, let’s take a moment to catch up with some former Sixers who have made significant moves to other teams this summer.

James Harden

Remember the drama surrounding James Harden’s exit from Philadelphia due to contract negotiations? Well, he’s found a new home with the Los Angeles Clippers, signing a lucrative two-year, $70 million deal. Despite some ups and downs in the previous season, Harden is set to team up with Kawhi Leonard in hopes of bolstering the Clippers’ performance in the tough Western Conference.

Dario Šarić

While there were talks of a potential return to the Sixers, Šarić surprised many by signing a generous two-year deal with the Denver Nuggets, worth about $10.6 million. His presence is expected to strengthen the Nuggets’ frontcourt rotation and provide support to Nikola Jokić.

Isaiah Joe

Isaiah Joe, a former Sixers draft pick, has found a new home with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Known for his deadly three-point shooting, Joe has secured a four-year, $48 million deal to continue making an impact for his new team.

Shake Milton

Shake Milton’s journey took him from the Sixers to the Minnesota Timberwolves and later to the New York Knicks. He has now signed a three-year, $9.1 million deal with the Brooklyn Knicks, showcasing his versatility and determination to contribute positively to his team.

A Few Others

Haywood Highsmith, Alec Burks, and DeAndre Jordan are among the other former Sixers who have made waves with their new teams this offseason. From securing significant contracts to taking on leadership roles, these players are proving their worth beyond their time in Philadelphia.
