Excitement filled the air at Eagles practice on Sunday, especially for defensive coordinator Vic Fangio. The defensive players put on a show, dominating every aspect of the field and leaving no room for errors.

From Jalen Hurts to Kenny Pickett, no quarterback was safe from the relentless defensive pressure. Even Tanner McKee, the third-string quarterback, found himself making costly mistakes under the intense scrutiny of the Eagles’ defense.

Players across all units showcased their talents, with standout performances from Nakobe Dean, Ben VanSumeren, and Zack Baun. The seasoned veterans like Brandon Graham and the promising young stars like Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis all contributed to the defensive prowess displayed during practice.

The highlight of the day came when journeyman Parry Nickerson intercepted a pass intended for Britian Covey and returned it for a 98-yard touchdown, showcasing his speed and determination to make an impact on the team.

The first team defense had a stellar sequence, putting immense pressure on Hurts and forcing turnovers left and right. The Eagles’ defense has been a force to be reckoned with in preseason games, displaying dominance and shutting down opposing offenses.

While the preseason stats may not hold much weight, Fangio remains optimistic about the potential of the defense and looks forward to the challenges that lie ahead in the upcoming season.

Overall, the defense emerged victorious on Sunday, setting the tone for what promises to be an exciting season for the Eagles.
