Exciting news for Philadelphia Eagles fans as the team made four moves this week to adjust their roster in preparation for their upcoming Week 1 matchup against the Green Bay Packers.

Jack Driscoll Joins the Practice Squad

The Eagles brought back Jack Driscoll, a fourth-round pick from the 2020 draft, who has shown promise in his previous stint with the team. Driscoll, who started 17 games in his tenure with the Eagles before moving on to the Dolphins in the offseason, is back on the practice squad after being released by Miami. His versatility as both a guard and tackle will provide valuable depth to the Eagles’ offensive line.

Despite some ups and downs in his performance, Driscoll has proven to be a reliable option when called upon, showing flashes of potential as a rookie and in his subsequent seasons with the team.

Year LT LG C RG RT
2020 1 0 0 0 287
2021 0 0 0 438 74
2022 148 0 0 0 204
2023 1 0 0 35 130
TOTAL 150 0 0 473 695

The Eagles’ decision to bring back Driscoll demonstrates their confidence in his abilities and familiarity with the team’s system.

Kyle Philips Joins the Practice Squad

Another exciting addition to the practice squad is wide receiver Kyle Philips, a former fifth-round pick who brings speed and playmaking ability to the team. With a background in punt returns, Philips adds versatility to the Eagles’ special teams unit.

A scouting report on Philips from his college days at UCLA highlights his potential as a slot receiver and return specialist, making him a valuable asset for the Eagles moving forward.

To make room for Driscoll and Philips, the Eagles waived tight end Kevin Foelsch and safety Caden Sterns, signaling a shift in the team’s roster as they fine-tune their lineup for the upcoming season.
