After a strong offensive showing in Brazil, the Eagles are back on home soil looking to prove their explosive performance was no fluke. While the defense may still need some time to gel under Vic Fangio, they will have a favorable matchup against the Falcons on Monday night in Week 2.
Last week, our bets didn’t go as planned as both teams failed to cover the under, and DeVonta Smith fell short of grabbing two touchdowns. But we’re not discouraged. We’re ready to bounce back this week.
This week, we face Kirk Cousins in prime time for the home opener, which should be an interesting matchup.
Week 2 Lock
This week’s lock is the Under 47.5. Cousins struggles under the bright lights, and the Eagles’ offense is firing on all cylinders. The Falcons are still adjusting to new components, making them vulnerable. With Fangio’s pressure on Cousins and Barkley’s reliability on offense, the Under looks promising.

For a longer shot this week, we’re betting on Jalen Hurts to score the first touchdown and add a second one. With his dynamic playmaking abilities and the crowd behind him, Hurts has a good chance of making this bet pay off.
