Last weekend, Philadelphia was rocked by a series of large illegal car meetups that resulted in chaos and mayhem. Two more individuals have been charged in connection with these events, adding to the arrests already made in the case.
Alexis Boyce, a 20-year-old from Englishtown, New Jersey, turned herself in to police on Friday morning. Meanwhile, 18-year-old Albert Woynar was arrested in Pittsburgh by Pennsylvania State Police. Both individuals are facing multiple felony and misdemeanor charges related to the illegal car meetups.

Boyce has been charged with causing/risking a catastrophe, riot, fleeing a police officer, and other offenses. Her Dodge Challenger was seized by the police. Woynar, on the other hand, faces charges of aggravated assault, causing/risking a catastrophe, riot, and fleeing a police officer. Interestingly, a yellow sun or banana mask was among the items seized from Woynar.
Deonte Vincent and Jhonny Martinez, residents of Philadelphia and Upper Darby respectively, had already been arrested in connection with the illegal car meetups. The authorities have also issued citations to around 25 people, and 38 cars have been identified as being involved in the events.
During a news conference, Philadelphia Police Deputy Commissioner Frank Vanore revealed that the chaotic meetups took place at 11 major intersections in the city, with participants engaging in reckless driving, setting off fireworks, igniting fires, and even displaying firearms. The extent of the damage caused by the events is substantial, with injuries sustained by both police officers and civilians.
As investigations continue, authorities are reviewing body camera footage, city camera videos, and social media posts to identify additional suspects. The district attorney’s office has uploaded photos from the meetups, urging anyone with information to come forward.
