A heart-wrenching incident of animal cruelty has left a cat named Kimiko fighting for her life after being shot with an arrow. The Pennsylvania SPCA shared the shocking news on social media, urging the public to help find the perpetrator responsible for this heinous act.

Kimiko was discovered with an arrow piercing through her right thigh by her caretaker in the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood. Thanks to quick intervention, she was rushed to a specialized animal hospital in Philadelphia, where she underwent emergency surgery and was stabilized.

Following the surgery, Kimiko was transferred to the PSPCA facility for further treatment and care. The dedicated team of surgeons removed the arrow and attended to her wounds, ensuring she receives the best possible care to aid in her recovery.

The PSPCA’s Animal Law Enforcement team is actively investigating the case and is determined to bring the perpetrator to justice. They are seeking any information that could lead to the identification of those involved in this cruel act.

Individuals willing to help can contact the PSPCA’s animal cruelty line at (866) 601-7722 or email cruelty@pspca.org with any relevant information. Additionally, the organization is calling for donations to support its efforts in treating and saving animals like Kimiko.

In a touching social media post, the PSPCA expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support for Kimiko, highlighting her remarkable road to recovery. Despite the trauma she endured, Kimiko is now surrounded by love and care, thanks to the efforts of the PSPCA and compassionate individuals.
