Excitement is building as the prospects wrap up rookie camp in Voorhees, paving the way for the much-anticipated main event later this week.
On-ice sessions for Flyers training camp are set to kick off on Thursday morning at the team’s training center. The notorious John Tortorella shuttle skates will mark the beginning of camp, a tradition since he took over as head coach two years ago.
The Flyers have a total of 58 players on their camp roster, with standout names like Matvei Michkov, Travis Konecny, and a healthy Jamie Drysdale. The full roster can be viewed HERE.
Thursday’s sessions will commence at 8:30 a.m. and will continue throughout the following weeks leading into the preseason, starting with an exhibition game against the Washington Capitals on Sunday. Fans can attend practices in Voorhees for free, just as they did during rookie camp. The full schedule can be found HERE.
The Flyers surprised many with their playoff push last season, showcasing promise for the future. The arrival of top prospect Michkov from Russia has generated even more excitement around the team.
