Excitement is in the air as the Flyers’ prospects gear up to hit the ice in Voorhees this week. The highly anticipated 2024 rookie camp will kick off with the first practice on Thursday morning, featuring star players like Matvei Michkov, Jett Luchanko, and Oliver Bonk.
Running for six days from Thursday to Tuesday, the camp will be held at the Flyers Training Center, welcoming fans to attend and watch the on-ice sessions for free.
In addition, the Flyers will face off against the New York Rangers’ prospects in two thrilling exhibitions on Friday and Saturday night at the Lehigh Valley Phantoms’ PPL Center in Allentown. Tickets for both games are available HERE and the games will also be live streamed on the Flyers’ website.
One player who is sure to steal the spotlight at the rookie camp is Matvei Michkov. Drafted seventh overall by the Flyers in 2023, Michkov is the face of the team’s rebuilding strategy and fans are eager to see him in action up close for the first time.
Other notable players to keep an eye on include Jett Luchanko, Hunter McDonald, and the promising London Knights duo of Bonk and Barkey. The full rookie camp roster can be found HERE.
