Aidan Miller is making moves at lightning speed.
The Phillies’ standout prospect is set to make his debut at Double-A Reading this week, following an outstanding five-hit performance for High-A Jersey Shore on Sunday. His recent hot streak has been turning heads in the minor-league circuit.
MiLB Central’s Chase Ford was the first to break the news of Miller’s promotion.
Hailing from Florida, Miller was a steal for the Phillies, selected 27th overall in last year’s draft. He quickly emerged as one of the team’s top prospects with immense potential.
In just over a year, the 20-year-old infielder has risen to become the Phillies’ top prospect and is ranked as the 28th best prospect in MLB’s Top 100 pipeline.
Miller began the 2024 season with Single-A Clearwater, posting impressive stats with a .275/.401/.483 slash line, including five home runs, 16 doubles, and 26 RBIs before earning a promotion to High-A Jersey Shore in June.
During his time with the BlueClaws, Miller maintained a solid .258/.353/.444 line but truly shined since August 1, hitting an impressive .333/.398/.598 with four homers, seven doubles, and four triples. Sunday’s performance against Hudson Valley showcased his power with a double and a home run among his five hits.
Now, he’s ready to climb another rung up the ladder in his baseball journey.
