As the Philadelphia Eagles gear up for their Week 2 Monday Night Football showdown against the Atlanta Falcons, the injury list has sparked some concern among fans. Initially, three players were listed on the injury report, but as the week progressed, the list grew longer.

The most significant news is that star wide receiver A.J. Brown will be sidelined due to a hamstring injury. Additionally, the Eagles made some roster moves by adding C/G Nick Gates while waiving EDGE Patrick Johnson.

Let’s take a look at the inactives for both teams and provide some analysis:

The Eagles have brought up WR Parris Campbell and TE E.J. Jenkins from the practice squad for this game, with Tanner McKee as the emergency quarterback.

WR A.J. Brown: With Brown on the sidelines, the Falcons’ cornerback situation could be exploited by DeVonta Smith, leaving opportunities for other Eagles receivers to shine.

LB Devin White: Despite being healthy, White remains inactive, raising some questions among fans.

CB Eli Ricks: The Eagles’ secondary depth allows Ricks to be inactive for this game.

OL Darrian Kinnard: The backup offensive linemen for the Eagles provide solid support.

OG Trevor Keegan: Keegan’s role as a guard limits his versatility on game day.

DT Byron Young: Young adds depth to the Eagles’ defensive line.

S Sydney Brown (PUP): Brown’s absence will be felt in the Eagles’ defense, with other safeties stepping up.

S James Bradberry (IR): Bradberry’s injury will keep him sidelined for an extended period, affecting the Eagles’ secondary.

WR Ainias Smith (IR): Smith’s injury adds to the Eagles’ receiving woes and limits offensive options.

TE Albert Okwuegbunam (IR): Okwuegbunam’s injury continues to impact the Eagles’ tight end rotation.
