Amidst the frenzy of the upcoming presidential election, a series of intriguing advertisements have taken the city of Philadelphia by storm. These ads boldly claim that Kamala Harris is the “official candidate of the Philadelphia Eagles,” featuring a striking illustration of Harris donning an Eagles helmet and clutching a football.

However, the Philadelphia Eagles organization has swiftly debunked these ads as “counterfeit.” In a reassuring message shared on X (formerly Twitter), the Eagles made it clear that these political ads are not endorsed by the team. They are working diligently with their advertising partner to ensure that these misleading advertisements are promptly removed.

Reports have indicated that the fraudulent flyers could be found at several bus shelters across the city, showcasing Harris in an Eagles-themed ensemble and even featuring a link to the PhiladelphiaEagles.com/vote website. Interestingly, this website provides valuable voting information for Pennsylvania and New Jersey residents, yet refrains from endorsing any specific candidate.

Multiple sightings of these ads have been documented, with bus shelters at prominent city intersections serving as their canvas. Despite their unexpected appearance, it has been confirmed that the responsible parties are not associated with the Harris campaign, SEPTA, or the City of Philadelphia.

The media company, Intersection, responsible for these bus shelters, expressed their dismay at the unauthorized placement of these political ads. They have pledged to conduct a thorough inventory of all bus shelters to remove any illicit posters detected.

As the mystery of these counterfeit advertisements continues, the eagerness surrounding the upcoming debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump intensifies. Set to take place on September 10 at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, this debate promises to be a pivotal moment in the run-up to the election.

While the fate of the deceptive flyers remains uncertain, the city of Philadelphia stands united in ensuring that the integrity of its political discourse remains untarnished.
